Observations May 1, 2014 - Aplomb

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Thu May 01, 2014 8:57 am

Today's observation is quoted with our thanks to BigDrawMan from a post of November 8, 2010.

I spent nine hours on two planes, two buses, two subways (all navigated with aplomb) to get there, enrolled the people around me to cheer on our widdle peahen, and i get orders to make pigskin picks!

Little Jack Horner sat in a corner
Eating his Christmas pie.
He stuck in his thumb and with full aplomb
said "What a good boy am I."
"Elen sila lumenn omentielvo...A star shines on the hour of our meeting."

Aplomb is one of my three favorite words. Every night I pray that I get through the next day with grace and aplomb.

The other two words are hope and underpants.

Love,
