Addicting

I finally let my daughter get a MySpace page.

I got one too.

Tweaking my profile and adding stuff is pretty addicting.
My post counts here may drop a bit for a while.

You're doing a great job. I haven't looked into how to make it all fancy like you have. Keep up the good work!

Be sure and check out my daughter's MySpace for her shop Ellie. She's in my friend list. I don't think you have to be added as a friend to see it.

I wish that we lived near you so that we could go to her shop!

I used to have my own website, but it's been a while since I have used html code. I have had to relearn how to do things because when Maddie asks for help, I want to be able to teach her how to change her page herself.

Where did you go to learn that stuff or to find an acceptable template? My (possibly mistaken) impression is that MySpace doesn't provide much in the way of user tools, and most people go to third party sites to customize their page. If that's true, it seems like pretty lousy customer service from MySpace.

Now that you've figured it out, will you give me lessons? I need more aesthetic appeal and multimedia virtual bling.

Sure, I will help to the limits of my abilities.

I found a third party site with pretty templates and I know enough html code to customize stuff.

Are you doing the GSC site?

As far as where I learned it, in 1997 I started my own web site so that relatives could find out what was going on with the kids so I didn't have to deal a phone call every day. Once we moved back to California, I stopped updating the site.

One helpful book for learning code is "HTML for Dummies."

Ok, that explains why I was in the top 16 :)

It's a very nice site, full of information.
