Happy 450th birthday William Shakespeare!
At our branch meeting yesterday I learned that we are going to renovate the office to try and gain more space and realign people so that they are in "work pods". Instead of individual cubicles, there will be a "pod" of four cubicles with only half-height partitions separating the work spaces for the four people in the pod. I really don't like this "open office" concept because (1) I'm a private person; (2) I have to do a lot of phone conversations and my voice carries, so I'll disrupt other people; (3) other people will come to chat with whoever I share space with, disrupting my concentration.

I'm guessing the person who made this decision will not have to share a pod.
