Rain, rain, go away!
Come again some other day!

It rained most of the night; some of the low places in our backyard are little ponds right now. The good news is that the rain should clear out and we'll have sunshine for the weekend.

Today's my "flex" or "compressed" day, so elwing has given me some chores to do around the house and a couple of errands to run.

Would you run to the grocery store for me?

It would save me the trip after work.

:D

Now that it's spring, people have already forgotten how to drive in snow. I got behind someone this morning in the left lane who absolutely refused to pass a semi in the right lane. Spent six miles doing 30 mph before they thought to pull in behind the truck and let others go. After I passed them and the truck (doing a safe-feeling 50), I pulled into the right lane and about ten more cars passed me.

That's not forgetting how to drive in snow; that's forgetting the "stay right except to pass" rule. And just about everyone has discarded that one.

Or at least come a little south. A nuisance to be rainy all the time but we could sure use it.

Or send it north. :D We are bone dry here but the eastern part of the state still has 1-2 feet of snow on the ground. If we don't get rain soon the farmers can forget about getting paid $15/bushel, they won't have any to sell. Really really dry here.
