Observations April 14, 2014 - Madeleines

I read about lamingtons in a short novel called The Ladies of Missalonghi and promptly looked up the recipe for this wonderful confection, so when the topic of madeleines came up, I did the same thing and now feel inspired to make both of these delicious sounding treats for bridge club Friday afternoon, if only I had two days to devote to the project.
