Bob Clark did a great job with the script and direction of A Christmas Story, and this is nowhere more evident than in the billingsgate that pours forth from Ralphie's lips when he is beating up on Scut Farkus, and instead of the actual cusswords, we hear a sanitized version that still manages to bring forth all the fury a nine year old can muster.

-- America would be a better place if leaders would do more long-term thinking. -- Wilma Mankiller
