There was a 4.7 earthquake in Los Angles at 6:25 PDT near the I-405 and Mullholland Dr.

That's near the Getty Center. I hope nothing broke there.

I felt some strong shaking with this quake for about 5 seconds.
No damage at my house.

I've been through two Hurricanes and five or six decent tornadoes. Surrounded by wildfires (though no closer than 20 miles). Never an earthquake.

I'll be there Wednesday-Sunday morning. Not really caring to experience one. Please complete your earthquake stuff before 8:30 on Wednesday.

Thanks

They're just warming up for the 7.0 one.

So what has your family decided to do for spring break in California?

Not quite settled on all the what's, but we will be staying on the Harbor in Long Beach. Thinking about buying a Smart Destinations Go-Card. For $170 we would get admission to 37 different attractions over 3 days. If we do the things on the card we would be interested in, we'd stay busy and be happy with what we accomplished. Then there is an extra day for me to do my 'driving' thing.

Thinking of doing:

Six Flags (becuase they have a high thrill roller coaster)
Santa Monica Pier
Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
Warner Bros VIP Studio Tour
Bike Rental thing
Probably a tour thing

We've nixed the Museum of Tolerance

If you're staying in Long Beach and doing these things, you'll want to get very familiar with Google traffic.

Too bad about the Museum of Tolerance. It's within walking distance of my house. --Bob

I use it twice daily, sometimes more. Unfortunately.

Nice timing! I'm sorry you didn't get to experience one though. It's pretty cool as long as nothing bad happens.

Yeah, a little disappointed we didn't get to experience a tremor, but only a little.

You missed about a hundred of them by 2 days. Actually, only 4 were big enough to feel in my part of O.C..
