Evan Black
Dallas, TX
accountant

Evan is used to dealing with other people's money but Cedric says that today he's going to be trying to bank some of his own. Evan tells a story about searching Craigslist and finding a local guy who was selling a lion's head - probably an old school mascot. Evan said he just had to have it and haggled the price from $35.00 to $25.00. Now anyone who comes to his apartment has to put on the lion head and Evan takes a picture to hang on his wall. He has about 50 photos. Cedric says Evan can win enough money to win the rest of the suit.

I don't know and (except for this WWOQ requiring me to burn a jump, if this had been my stack) I don't care. A celebrity was a pen pal with another celebrity! While that other celebrity was in prison!!!

I don't understand why Evan made a guess here, unless he was feeling regret for burning a lifeline on the IgNobel Prize question.

Did they show any of the pictures? Can you see the wearer's face through the lion's mouth? If not, he has about 50 nearly identical photos of people wearing a lion's head.

Even if Evan doesn't know what "ignoble" means, "a parody of the actual Nobel Prize" is a good description.

Proterotetiphobiaâ„¢ strikes again!

They showed one (full body length) picture. It might have been Evan or one of his guests. There was no visible face, so you can't tell.

I suppose, with 50 photos, you could at least use body side to eliminate the possibility that they were all pictures of Evan wearing different clothes. :P

Cedric might have helped if he had pronounced it as "ignoble". Instead, he was a little too literal in reading it as "ig no-BELL". Chalk this up as a time when the comedian didn't get the joke. :P
