Although the predicted "snowmageddon" didn't materialize (forecasts were for up to 7" of snow), we did get 2" and an undercoating of ice that made streets treacherous even for buses. The district commander gave us a two-hour delayed arrival time and authorized a "liberal leave policy". I went to work, taking advantage of the delayed arrival, but only 3 or 4 others showed up (out of 40). I had enough to keep me busy, however - Monday is reports day and they have to be run even if there's no one to receive the data.
