When he first started telling this story, I thought that TPTB missed a perfect opportunity for an on-screen proposal. Then Ryan mentioned that his finance did the proposing, so he (who wasn't in the relationship seat) probably didn't have the producer's phone number to arrange it.

The finance might also have thought that Ryan didn't need that distraction in the middle of playing a trivia game--a concept that Cedric must find shocking, I know. :P

Question 3 - Level 9 First Roles

A. Private Benjamin B. Bird on a Wire
C. Swing Shift D. Wildcats
JTQ 1
"Not a clue in the world. Way before my time." Added the only one he would guess is maybe Private Benjamin.
Answer and value
D. Wildcats
Value: $3000 jumped
Bank: $2100
I can eliminate A, B, and C. That leaves D and makes sense since I can easily see both of them as football players.
Question 6 - Level 8 Mixed Emotions
Considered one of the greatest tearjerkers of all time, what 1989 film's tagline was "The funniest movie ever to make you cry"?
A. Moonstruck B. When Harry Met Sally...
C. An Officer and a Gentleman D. Steel Magnolias
Spoiler
Ryan is leaning Steel Magnolias but will jump the question and not risk it
Answer and value
D. Steel Magnolias
Value: $500 jumped
Bank: $32100
?? A, B, and C aren't tearjerkers. They all have happy endings, and IMHO, Moonstruck is quite cheerful.
Question 8 - Level 7 Not One to Boast
Which actor reportedly keeps a photo of himself as Batman on his office well as a reminder to not make films solely for money?
A. Jack Nicholson B. Jim Carrey
C. George Clooney D. Danny DeVito
Answer and value
C. George Clooney
Value: $7000
Bank: $54100
This is obviously the kind of easy question I need. The others played villains; Clooney is the only one who played Batman.

Never heard of it. JTQ 1
