Observations February 20, 2014 - Senescence

Now in mid-senescence between the time I planted it and its eventual withering, the apricot tree in the back yard has provided disappointment after disappointment as it believes the promise of that first false spring and blossoms gloriously, only to be followed by that hard freeze in April which sends all the buds spiraling to the ground where they provide no apricots.
