I was eating lunch in the break area and ran into a former co-worker who transferred from the Corps to Ft. Knox 6 years ago. He was here to interview for a job. I asked him which one and it turns out he's interviewing for the branch chief position for the new Business Oversight Branch (where I work). We had a nice chat about family and such and he took advantage of the opportunity to ask me about the job and what would be involved. I told him what I knew and wished him good luck. I hope he gets the job, but I don't think it will happen because the acting chief is buddy-buddy with the division chief, who will make the selection.
