Vuvuzelas

Those obnoxious noisemakers have been banned from the Olympics, but I'm sure I can hear them in the Sweden-Russia hockey game. Maybe I'll hear them less and less as the game goes on as they're found and confiscated, or maybe they're something else and I just think they're vuvuzelas.

Kind of like cowbells at Mississippi State conference football games?

I'm not familiar with this particular custom, but if it's really loud and really obnoxious, and if it sets on edge the teeth of everyone within a listening radius . . . oh yes! And if it drives the television and radio sound people crazy, then yes, it's like the above-mentioned horrible horn.
