Christ The Savior vs. Cedric The Entertainer

I just tuned in to get my daily 3:00 p.m. fix of WWTBAM and found that it has been replaced in Austin by "The 700 Club." Wow, that was a shock. At first I thought it was just an extended commercial break, so I kept watching as tearful people kept saying how much better their lives became after they started mailing 20 bucks a month to Jesus Christ (in care of his trusted friend, Pat Robertson). It appears that WWTBAM has been moved to 1:05 a.m. Not a good sign for the future health and survival of the show.

That is because they want you to understand that it is better to give, than to receive, and you should give to them, not receive it from BAM

Maybe it's a sign that Pat's going to be replacing Cedric as host next season (and maybe Cedric will replace Alex Trebek).

Cedric replacing Pat would be more fun.

Apparently Pat is more entertaining than Cedric to Austinites.

Central time zone has one fewer hour of daytime programming (with one more hour of overnight) than Eastern, as morning shows are in Central time while prime time is in sync with the east coast, i.e. "8 / 7 Central". It makes sense that stations in that time zone would be among the first to find a shortage during the day and push a struggling show to the wee hours. I think this is true with Mountain time as well since their prime time is 7.

I curiously checked out KEYE Austin listings on TitanTV and today had two hour-long episodes of The 700 Club at 9AM and 3PM (!) Next week WWTBAM is listed at 3PM & 3:30 (repeat) so maybe the 1AM is a temporary thing.

Tell it to Pat. He said when you send him money, you're giving it to The Lord.
