Owwwwww!!! Heh heh heh!!! That ruled! Ummm, so Butthead, what's this game going to be about anyway? It isn't singers who suck, is it?

Ummmm, I think it's..... um.... pairs, or something. Huh huh huh.... partners.

Heh heh heh!!! Heh heh heh!!! Partners!

Huh huh huh!! Yeah...

1 point for the title, 1 point for the artist...

1. Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping

2. You play with words you play with love
you can twist it around baby that ain't enough
cause girl I'm gonna know
if you're letting me in or letting me go

3. Charleston was once the rage, uh huh.
History has turned the page, uh huh.
The miniskirt's the current thing, uh huh.
Tennybopper is our newborn king, uh huh.

4. Up in the morning at six o'clock
Head for the city
Turn on the music, the radio
Nobody's hurrying
Day after day
Slaving away, yeah

5. You didn't turn away
When the sky went gray
Somehow we managed
We had to stay together

6. They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall

7. We got the rhythm tonight
All the rest know we’re the best
Our shadows crash in the light
Twistin’, turnin’, we keep burnin’

8. I fire up my pickup truck
And let the horses run
I go flying down that highway
To that hideaway
Stuck out in the woods

9. You don't know how to ease my pain
You don't know
You don't know how to ease my pain
You don't know what the sound is darlin'

10. Deals dope out of Denny's
Keeps a table in the back
He always listens to the ground
Always listens to the ground

11. Maybe we’re going nowhere fast
Ohhh
And maybe we never even touched the gas
Ohhh

12. They can't play baseball they don't wear sweaters
They're not good dancers they don't play drums

Private Eyes -- Hall and Oates

3. Charleston was once the rage, uh huh.
History has turned the page, uh huh.
The miniskirt's the current thing, uh huh.

The Beat goes On -- Sonny and Cher

4. Up in the morning at six o'clock
Head for the city
Turn on the music, the radio
Nobody's hurrying
Day after day
Slaving away, yeah

5. You didn't turn away
When the sky went gray
Somehow we managed
We had to stay together

Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now -- Ashford and Simpson

6. They say that all good things must end some day

I'll guess Summer Song by Chad and Jeremy for all the rest.

Kroxquo Bonus: Name another song with artist that was done by a duo with the same naming format as the groups above.

Love is Strange -- Mickey and Sylvia

Mecca Bonus: One of these songs was on the Mecca CD. Which number? Changed my guess here to #8, Boot Scooting Boogie -- see below.(1 possible point)

5 Point Bonus: One of the enduring gags from Beavis & Butthead cartoons was that a couple times during each episode, the two would watch a music video and mock the hell out of it. Which of the above songs had their video featured in one of these B&B segments?

Shoot, I had Private Eyes for the Mecca bonus, but would you be that tricky? I"m gonna guess no, for this one, at least. #2, Private Eyes, final answer.

History has turned the page, uh huh.
The miniskirt's the current thing, uh huh.
Tennybopper is our newborn king, uh huh.
The Beat Goes On - Sonny & Cher

4. Up in the morning at six o'clock
Head for the city
Turn on the music, the radio
Nobody's hurrying
Day after day
Slaving away, yeah
Livin' It Up (Friday Night) - Bell & James (Dammit... I'm going to keep using this song in the LSWE until someone finally gets it rigth! This song is pure funky disco "if it doesn't make you want to move, you must be in a coma" gold!!!)

5. You didn't turn away
When the sky went gray
Somehow we managed
We had to stay together
Solid - Ashford & Simpson

6. They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
A Summer Song - Chad & Jeremy

7. We got the rhythm tonight
All the rest know we’re the best
Our shadows crash in the light
Twistin’, turnin’, we keep burnin’
Shake Your Groove Thing - Peaches & Herb

8. I fire up my pickup truck
And let the horses run
I go flying down that highway
To that hideaway
Stuck out in the woods
Boot Scootin' Boogie - Brooks & Dunn (WARNING: This LSWE might have the most country songs of any of my past contests....)

9. You don't know how to ease my pain
You don't know
You don't know how to ease my pain
You don't know what the sound is darlin'
Cry - Godley & Cream (A song best known for its unique music video....)

10. Deals dope out of Denny's
Keeps a table in the back
He always listens to the ground
Always listens to the ground
Welcome To The Boomtown - David & David (Starfish would've gotten this... but alas, he's been as invisible as Fanny this year...)

11. Maybe we’re going nowhere fast
Ohhh
And maybe we never even touched the gas
Ohhh
It's Alright - Matt & Kim (One of two M&K songs that have been on past Mecca CD's. The other one blew huge audio chunks, but this one I really liked... and no, I had never heard of them before they started playing them at Mecca last year...)

12. They can't play baseball they don't wear sweaters
They're not good dancers they don't play drums
Fish Heads - Barnes & Barnes

Mecca Bonus: One of these songs was on the Mecca CD. Which number? (1 possible point) -#11. It's Alright... as I had already spoiled above. Most people guessed Hall & Oates for this one.... not this time, but keep them in mind, as they will be the answer to a later Mecca Bonus....

5 Point Bonus: One of the enduring gags from Beavis & Butthead cartoons was that a couple times during each episode, the two would watch a music video and mock the hell out of it. Which of the above songs had their video featured in one of these B&B segments? - #9 - Cry

Hall & Oates was a pretty popular guess for this one too... but the only H&O video I remember Beavis & Butthead couch critiquing was "Jingle Bell Rock" on the Christmas special....

Beavis: "HEY LOOK!!! It's GERALDO!!!"

One of many times Beavis & Butthead made me piss my pants in the 90's...
