Patty apparently thought Comet cleanser had a mascot named Mr. Comet. Maybe she was thinking of Mr. Clean. I looked up Comet's mascot:

I thought about that, too, but that also means she thought that the mascot of a cleansing product had developed a theory about the composition of a comet's nucleus?!?

Dirty snowball is how I've heard comets described my whole life. I think I'm probably a bit older than this contestant, however.

There's a town near Nice called Eze (pronounced "ehz"). On our transatlantic cruise we stopped in Nice and there was a tour to Eze. One of the tourists joked that it was the "Nice and Easy" tour.
