I was a little puzzled by Meredith's reaction to this question. She shook her head and said something like, "Those people do some strange things". Is she a fan of Cheney or just wanting to preserve her journalistic neutrality?

I think Meredith's actual words were "Don't get your liver in a quiver," an expression I've never heard.
