The Hawaiian health official who verified the authenticity of President Obama's birth certificate died in a small plane crash.

Counting you, the number of people who might consider this the result of a conspiracy is 1.

No, you can't count me. I'm expecting Donald Trump to claim it is.

Ironically, the Hawaii health director died on the same day that America's Health Rankings named Hawaii the healthiest state.

No conspiracy, but karma, maybe.

I doubt that very much.

ABC News broadcast a video, shot by a passenger, of the entire crash.

I expect Mr.Trump's experts will examine it frame by frame, like the Zapruder film, looking for evidence of a conspiracy.

There is an amazing lack of screaming.

That is amazing video, although some of the TV narration of the account sounded inaccurately sensational.

"They didn't know they were only seconds away" from the crash--but the plane was skimming only a few feet above the water and at least one passenger appears to be bracing for impact. I'm pretty sure they knew.

"The plane spiraled in the water"--but while the camera is being held at a angle looking out the side window, it appeared to a level and controlled water ditching.

Neither the USA Today article nor the TV footage explains exactly how Ms. Fuddy died. Was it trauma from the crash? It doesn't seem that violent on the video. Did she fail to exit the aircraft in time and drown?

She died from a stress-induced cardiac arrhythmia. --Bob
