2014 Screen Actors Guild Award Nominations

The first batch of major film award nominations were announced earlier today. The 20th Annual SAG Awards will be presented on Saturday January 18.

The 2014 Golden Globe nominations will be announced tomorrow morning. Those awards will be presented on the Sunday before the SAGs.

Most of the Guild members did not get a chance to screen The Wolf of Wall Street before the deadline for voting. That could well have cost Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill nominations, as well as the film itself for an ensemble nomination.

The biggest surprise is omitting Robert Redford for Best Actor.

Of the movies on this list, I've only seen The Wolverine.

Those I'm interested in seeing are:

Gravity
The Butler
Dallas Buyers Club
American Hustle
Saving Mr. Banks

I'm sure all the others besides F&F are good and may make my 'interested' list once I learn what they are.
