I love Catholics!

Thanks to Siena and Villanova (along with Davidson), I've still got a shot this year. Too bad St. Joe and St. Mary didn't come along for the ride (yes, Thursday morning I had a spell and switched off of Oklahoma. I'm sorry, Sliver!).

Now I need Notre Dame, Marquette and Xavier to continue making me happy today.

I almost changed St. Joe's to Oklahoma at the last minute but didn't because of my loyalty to the Philadelphia basketball community.

That loyalty to the Philadelphia basketball community (plus, Xavier for the A-10) got me Siena vs. Villanova.

Fran McCaffrey, the Siena coach, is the brother of an acquaintance, Delco times sportswriter Jack McCaffrey. Went to Penn with my friend Lori's sister.

Also picked Davidson and Western Kentucky. But I'm not sure it's on the same pool -- I played a couple.
