I'm guessing you've never tried a Fun Dip. It's basically a pouch of powder, similar to Pixy-Stix (or powdered Sweetarts). They come with a solid sugar stick, which you lick and then dip into the powder pouch. The sour stuff is usually pretty acidic.

Did Cedric ever clarify which classic song the question refers to? I bet most of the audience assumed it was the original name for "Jingle Bells," and voted on that basis. But it actually refers to "Silver Bells." And the songwriter was Jay Livingston, who also wrote the theme songs to "Mr. Ed," "Bonanza" and other classics.

Yes, he did read a quick comment about that off the teleprompter.

How about math, Yvonne? Subtract 110 from 2012 and you get 1902. So she's too young to have been in the Revolutionary War or the Civil War. There are some WWII vets still around (I read a story on December 7 about one who goes to the Arizona memorial to greet visitors), so there's only one answer left. 3 lifelines down.

From the hint in the question I wouldn't have thought B was the answer. I'd have used my ATA here.

And she beat out how many people to win the Facebook contest? <Sheesh>®.

This threw me for a minute because I didn't recall hearing that there were no more WWI vets left. But like you said, a little simple math, combined with knowing for sure there were WWII vets still around, told me that had to be the answer

Just didn't have the energy to transcribe them all.

I'm most upset that they didn't give any indication that this was really a sweepstakes she won, after being one of the (30% of how many?) folks who "beat Cedric".

A Million Dollar Buddy champion, she wasn't. :|
