DOUBLE MONEY WEEK

Chaan Thomas
Chicago, IL
middle school teacher

If he wins a lot of money Chaan (Cedric pronounced it "Shawn") would like to get away, especially from kids (even though he likes them, he adds). He wants to ride cross-country on a motorcycle. He's never ridden one so he'd have to have lessons. Cedric notes that in Illinois helmets aren't required so Chaan's dreads would be flying in the breeze.

I never heard of tchotchkes until I started going on-line because it seems to be a back-East term, and while I would have had no problem saying "B, final answer," I'm still not sure I would call Hummel figurines "tchotchkes" considering that their resale value can be thousands of dollars.

And if Chaan has a wreck, his brains might be doing likewise. I really don't get why bike riders don't wear helmets.

I'd JTQ without bothering to ATA. Chaan was doing well and I agree with his assessment that he should have given more thought to the 1st question.
