Sara Bareilles Grammy nominations

#1 Post by Ritterskoop » Sat Dec 07, 2013 5:31 pm

I've been obsessed with The Blessed Unrest and four of its singles since the album came out this summer. I'd hoped she'd get a nomination for writing for "Brave," but am glad she got nominated for that one for Best Pop Vocal and for the album overall. That's a huge honor for a disc with spectacular lyrics all through and tasty musical arrangements and variety throughout.

The songs I play over and over and sing really loud:

"Brave"- the video on this is adorable. Folks dancing in public who maybe some should be in private, but good for them! Let it hang out (speak up) and see what happens!!
"Chasing the Sun" - inspired by her friend's bike ride through a cemetery in Queens
"Little Black Dress"
"I Choose You"

Check out the video for "King of Anything".
