I predict

#1 Post by Bob78164 » Sat Dec 07, 2013 12:31 pm

I predict with extremely high confidence that the Tigers will win today's SEC championship game. Congratulations to the Tigers and their fans! --Bob

That is an old joke people like to make when two teams with the same nickname play each other.

I know you know I'm not a sports fan but I did know that.

Since the Harris Poll helps determine BCS rankings, I think the fix is in.

I always thought that the University of Wyoming should play Oklahoma State at Cowboys Stadium for a "Cowboy Bowl." But Jerry Jones sold the name of the stadium to AT&T and messed that up...

One of the problems with Ever Growing College Football Conferences is the redundancy of names -- the SEC has three Tigers (two in the same division) and two Bulldogs.

It's almost as bad as the old days in the CFL when the Rough Riders would play the Roughriders. Fortunately, the eastern Riders threw in the towel after years of bad ownership some years ago.

Then again, college football has its own version of Six Degrees of Separation:
