Look; I'm glad they finally brought Mom back into the plot, even on a wing & a prayer like they did, but the fiction that she was "visiting cousins" for the previous 5 episodes? Like, that's something you do after a nuclear disaster when your sons live in town? etc etc.
I actually thought they were gonna send Bonnie off to "live in Cheyenne where there's a great young-deaf-people scene going" instead of what they did do.
There's just so much suspension of disbelief I can take.
Nonetheless, I am on of the (few) watchers, so what can I say.

I'm not particularly sorry to see it go. The premise of a post-nuclear-apocalypse show was interesting, but that never was what they gave us. The effects of the disaster and recovery were trivialized to let Jake solve the crisis of the week, all while building their real story of this huge conspiracy, all of which conveniently is drawing to a conclusion right in this little town of Jericho.
It was nice that they brought it back, but now they can let it disappear.

Well, the reason it's drawing to a close so neatly right in the town of Jericho is because the writers planned it that way - they wrote two final episodes, one to be run if the show continued for another season, and the other to be run if the show was cancelled.MarleysGh0st wrote:I'm not particularly sorry to see it go.
