Congrats to Skoop

Number one on Sploofus for the Nov QOTD

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

Congratulations!

I stayed on the front page all month until I forgot to play from Thanksgiving forward.

I was on page 1 when I played but of course the later players pushed me down. It's blocked at work so I don't know how far yet.

Yes, Congrats! Did Weyoun and his father quit playing? I haven't seen them listed lately.

Thanks everyone. It was just one of those strings of questions. I Charlied-out twice and it worked but the rest were things that were in my fields somehow. I did seem to get a nice chunk of sports and lit questions, and not so much the cricket and diving silliness.

Congrats are in order. What's Sploofus? (duck & cover)

Someday, when I have a computer at home....

It will break. Probably why I haven't bought one already.

Great job, Skoop!

I noticed at the time but forgot to come on here and say something.
No matter where you go, there you are.
