I don't get it. Were contestants recruited via time machine, so they could know what
actually happened in 2033 (as opposed to being portrayed as happening in the movie)?

Again, there's an answer that makes sense according the the saying, but who knows what
happened in 2088?
The question has nothing to do with what happened in the future, that's just the junk in the question. Like all wwtbam questions, you just have to strip away the junk to get to the real questions. In these cases, what was the movie that Marty saw an ad for in Back to the Future 2 and what is the completion of this common phrase about pigs?
