earendel is Catching Fire
Saturday I went to see the second movie in the Hunger Games series. While I realize these are "young adult" fiction, I found the books interesting. I wasn't particularly impressed with the first movie, but this one was much better, adhering closer to the book than the first one, albeit with a few plot points left out.

Stop, drop and roll!
Oops, sorry, just reacting to the subject line, there.
I'll probably go see this, later in the week. The movie may adhere more closely to the book, but I didn't like the second two books nearly as much as the first.

I thought "Catching Fire" was the best of the three, with "Hunger Games" second and "Mockingjay" a distant third (a disappointing denoument).MarleysGh0st wrote:Stop, drop and roll!

I had mixed feelings about a lot of what happened in Mockingjay, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it demonstrated the devastating effects of war very well.earendel wrote:I thought "Catching Fire" was the best of the three, with "Hunger Games" second and "Mockingjay" a distant third (a disappointing denoument).MarleysGh0st wrote:Stop, drop and roll!

Hope you all stayed for the credits. Or at least the first song.
