Another Celebrity contestant next week
Charles Esten, a star on ABC's "Nashville", appears on SyndieBAM on Wednesday and Thursday, next week.

It will extend his game show appearances to just about 25 years, as he was a several game winner on $ale in December 1988(how many games is not known, as GSN, which has aired some of his appearances twice in recent months, skipped over the 12/19-12/30 Xmas themed shows, and Chip was the champ on the 12/16/88). GSN will start airing the 1985-86 syndicated version of $ale on 11/29.

The only IMDb credit for game shows for him are "Hollywood Squares" Jan. 25-26, 2001, and "Scrabble" Mar. 21, 1990, but his bio says: Was a contestant on at least 5 episodes of the game show Sale of the Century in 1988. He won over $20,000 in cash and prizes. back when the "Paul is dead" rumors were widespread, people claimed that the license plate meant that Paul would have been "28 IF" he were still alive.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's how Charles (Chip) got it, too. Googling LMW 28IF brings up 135,000 hits, so there's a lot of discussion out there about it. Some of the pages point out, however, that the actual plate is LMW 281F, not LMW 28IF.
