Does it have anything to do with fixing Obamacare?
Plenty of jobs available there.

Re: The economy must be improving
Thanks. It's the same sort of thing I've been doing for the last 20 years -- working as a litigator for a law firm. I'll be taking a salary hit -- their offer is what I was making back in 2004. On the other hand, with Ms. 63 back in the work force, our combined incomes should be enough to enable me to move out. --Bobjarnon wrote:WTG, Bob! Details? Maybe the economy is not improving: Walmart says their profit forecast is not very good:

Yes. I'm just trying to decide whether to attempt to negotiate on salary. --BobMarleysGh0st wrote:Are you accepting the offer?Bob78164 wrote:I received a job offer today. --Bob

How would you negotiate after saying, "Yes"?Bob78164 wrote:Yes. I'm just trying to decide whether to attempt to negotiate on salary. --BobMarleysGh0st wrote:Are you accepting the offer?Bob78164 wrote:I received a job offer today. --Bob
I don't negotiate nowadays. I know what my services are worth and tell them that's what I want. If they won't pay that someone else will.
