Looks like the weather will shine on my wedding reception Saturday. High should be about 78 and sunny skies. We will be out by the pool. I'm very happy and hope it holds true.

Remember, it's always good luck for the bride to get thrown into the pool.....or is it the mother of the bride? I always forget.

Water temperature is holding at 62 degrees. I'm hoping no one gets thrown in the pool, good luck or not.

Definitely the mother of the bride.

I'm not confused or anything either....I am the mother of the groom this time. We really don't have a mother of the bride since Melissa's mother was killed in an accident when Melissa was 10. There is a step mother though. Hopefully, she won't end up in the pool.

It's taking its sweet time getting HERE. I'm still in my winter Underoos. Same old Same old weatherwise. Highs in the mid 30's. No change in temperature expected over the next 7 days.

Spring better hurry. Opening day is March 31st. It's gonna be awfully hard to play in parkas.

Oops. Better stop grouching for a minute to say I hope everything goes terrifically on Saturday!

Thanks T-Bone. I'm not worn out or anything. I've been sitting here wondering if I could stay awake until FNGD and it's only Thursday! Good grief, it would be nice if I could keep my days straight wouldn't it?

I will more than likely miss gender defender tomorrow night. I've already told the family Easter is a no go. I bought the kids each a little something, but there will be no cooking or going out. It's gonna be a quiet, stay at home day for me.

NO spring here yet. In fact, we're under a winter storm watch (again) for up to 10 inches of the yucky white stuff. Ugh!

Perfect weather for Easter Egg hunts Saturday.

The first day of spring is one thing......the first spring day is another.

And no appearance from Vern_Equinox, then again, I didn't see Vern's handler on the Bored today either....

Vern's handler might be on spring break. I can't remember if that was mentioned or not.

I amazed and confounded one of my co-workers today with my knowledge of how Easter is this Sunday -- the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox, and that's why it's so early this year. He said, "You know lotsa stuff!"

I had to agree with that.

Then I said, "That and $4 will get me a latte at Starbucks."

How true, uly. Although today is supposed to be excellent (highs in the upper 60s, the weekend will not be so nice, with snow flurries in the forecast).

I'm glad it made you laugh - it was supposed to be a joke, but sometimes I guess I'm like appa23 and don't express it well. I actually have no idea what the difference between the two is, either, but I remember another thread where the date of Easter was discussed and someone brought up the point about the different full moons.

The dusting of snow we got last night shows that we're still in the middle of Unlocking. The first day of Spring will be May 1!

It still gets cold here at night, but the days have been quite pleasant, sunny and clear, and not too hot.
