You are going to sit for an exam.

The exam is on March 28.

You have to have your application et al in to TPTB "no later than 12 working days before the scheduled exam".

What is the last day you can have your stuff to them and sit for the exam?

I get March 12.

This assumes a working day is neither a Saturday, Sunday or holiday.

You're already too late.

Should have had the stuff to them by March 12, assuming that Monday-Friday are considered working days in this industry.

It was there on March 12.

They called to say it was too late and Sting could not sit for the exam.

I have called TPTB and left a message to clear up the whole thing.

I have not heard back.

I am thinking they are scrambling now.

The opportunity to call this office and explain to them why Sting should be able to take the exam! :)

So..... Good Friday is a holiday for the International Society of Arborculture. I tried to argue the definition and she told me it is printed on their website in the area that talks about paper work. It is - very clearly. They declined my request for an exception.

Looks like he will be driving to Syracuse in April.

Oh, yeah, we've got a holiday this Friday, too! But pass along a <grumble>® to Sting about this. What do they have to do with his test application that takes 12 working days, anyway?

Casey seemed very busy - it looks like they have all sorts of exams happening all over the world - so.... their game, their rules.

He didn't have to wait until the last minute and he did. His bad.

He was throwing around concerns about the weather and he gave that up after he calmed down.
