Since Lucky & won the lottery pun intended (first voted DWTS or AI first new show cancelled) My fearless predictions for some new and returning shows
The following shows shouldn't last past Thanksgiving, some might not even make it past Canadian Thanksgiving, this Monday by the way,
"We are Men" Mike and Molly are waiting and this show struck out faster than than the Upton brothers against LA pitching I think DWTS has slowly run its course my God even Len is bailing the fabulous Blacklist one more emmy nod for James Spader as networks try to slide back into emmy contention after years of Cable and ad supported cable beat downs leaves Hostages and Castle fighting for leftovers we had the proposal, the move to Washington,
Spoiler
Beckett's firing and return to NYPD
have the damn wedding people and I really like the show.
Brooklyn 9-9 and Dads bad premises and a brutal time slot against NCIS and the Voice
On the same night after Agents of Shield comedy viwers switch to New Girl and Mindy and away from the Goldbergs and Trophy Wife so they are on life support in the late Tuesday slot it is a dog fight with POI (fighting the Judging Amy curse) leading Chicago Fire after destroying Lucky 7 and they are established and safe for the season.
On Wednesday almost everything is old and familiar except Rebel Wilson's Super Fun Night safe for now and Ironside (may not last past tonight), the pilot was disjointed and confusing and the hero was not sympathetic a disgrace to the memory of Raymond Burr.
Thursday night a pot boiler "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" well why not early enough for the kids and all of Dodgon's zany creations can it sustain interest, I have to see it first. Comedies new and old The Millers with Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale from Justified and that show about the Dr and his dead wife from a few years ago are worth a look and holding the audience better than two and a half men did. At the same time we have Welcome to the Family, guess the premise, I think they have been doing this since Bridget Loves Bernie anyway I liked Mike Omalley better as the hood in Justified and Mary McCormack in "In Plain Sight" will be gone soon. The next hour is a dog fight with 4 new comedies I have Mork and Buffy beating Sean Just Jack Hayes, I think he only got this series because he gave NBC ahit with Grimm. At 830 NBC will ride with Michael J especially with lines like this
Spoiler
mike and wife in bed wife says did you take your meds mike no wife good now i dont have to do all the work
Grey's Anatomy is strong but I see problems with Glee The 10 oclock hour looks safe for all shows
Friday not much to report Fox and NBC repeating Sleepy Hollow and Sean and Michael respectively.
Sunday Betrayal's done Football, Fox cartoons, OUAT and Revenge are strong leaving The Good Wife well written and acted but getting tired and the Mentalist wrapping up Red John so they are in real danger after this year

The Judging Amy Curse ever since CBS cancelled Judging Amy who had ruled that time slot ratings wise for several years only one new show has survived the season, Witout a Trace and lose to Home went there to die after the one season and Smith, Cane, Unforgettable* and Vegas were not renewed (* I don't count a summer replacement renewal). The one show that survived The Good Wife

More TV news: There will be no X Factor on Fox in 2014, as Simon Cowell has returned to England to focus on his British shows and "the next phase of his personal life" (i.e. his soon-to-be-born son).
