I agree with her timeline reasoning and would have been comfortable pulling the trigger on this one. I can add another timing detail -- Walt Disney directed that Eleanor Audley be cast as Maleficent because she was such a perfect villainness in Cinderella. But good grief, I loved it when it came out and still love it, especially Meriwether.
