I'd use one of my JTQs on this question.

Well, it was fortunate that her double money question was for $25,000, but in the end, the double money doesn't matter because the goal is the million. Of course if she decides to jump the $100K question and then walk away from the $250K question she'll still have a sizeable chunk of change.

If her goal was the million. In the meantime, she starts her carryover appearance with the worst risk/reward ratio ever seen on the show.

Sorta kinda (I don't remember how much Chad Mosher had). But the extra JTQ makes a big difference. --Bob

This got me curious (I was missing the link to Chad's run but Chad himself recently posted it on Twitter as it was the second anniversary of his airing)

On his next-to-last question, Chad had $85100 in his bank and could have either added $2K or $5K to his bank.

Walk: would have been $42550 at that point
Right: anticipated bank 88600 (+3500 based on 50/50 chance of each) theoretical ability to walk with $44300 (+$1750)
Wrong: $1K (-41550)

So for that specific question the risk/reward would be worse. Then again, answering it put Chad one question away from keeping all his bank and more than doubling what he could take home.

I had just picked up this odd fact from a vSauce video on YouTube about a week ago....
