Who'd thunk it? Billiards? Guess they test for drugs for all events these days.

Wow. Pro shuffleboarders better leave their Viagra home when they go to tourneys.

I drank Arizona Memory Tea a few hours before I sat in the hot seat. Best $1.29 I ever spent.
I wonder when Jeopardy will start drug testing. Some of those contestants have buzzer skills that don't exist in nature.

The only dope might be the guy who thought illegal drugs would make him a better pool player.

And I thought this was going to be a thread about doping with propranolol.
(tremor-reducing) .
From the very little I can decipher from the first page of googlable sources, the issue is using an EPO-masking agent. These sources suggest putting meat tenderizer on your fingers when going to make wee-wee and "accidentally" getting your fingers wet. The tenderizer then breaking down peptides and proteins, including EPO.
I will add no comment about.
Finasteride, used for baldness and for prostate problems, is also briefly noted.
Someone who actually knows something may be able to usefully add more.
At any rate, here is the unfortunate billiardist:
