Bonjour from St. Barths

#1 Post by a1mamacat » Tue Mar 18, 2008 9:22 am

ohhh myyyyy Golllly.

Probably the most upscale stop so far. Gucci, LV, etc, all over the place. Can hardly see the beach as all the yachts are blocking the view LOL.

Yesterday I went for my very first snorkle, a little spot called Champagne. It is astounding, with thermal vents that shoot streams of bubbles up into the water. The fish swarm around them, parrot fish, and black and white striped fish, saw a sea horse, and a massive sea cucumber.

Tonight, I am a model in a jewellry show onboard. We will be dripping in beautiful amber pieces. Tomorrow, we were slated for Virgin Gorda, but due to the rough swells heading from the north, we are changing and heading to St. Kitts.

Hope all are well. It will take me a while to catch up on the news.

Mwah and all that stuff.

T, TCD

I hope that you get to keep some of the jewelry that you are modeling. :)

Pop into Le Select and have a cheeseburger in paradise for me! A little muenster would be nice...

While Bubba lets the restaurant use that name it is not the spot from which the song came, or so he claims. Then again I have read about at least 2 different locations that are associated with being the source of that song and phrase, Roatan in the Bay islands of Honduras and Tortola in the BVI's.

No telling what the real answer is.
