Coroner Andrew Bradley recorded a verdict of death by misadventure and added: “Never was a verdict more appropriate.”
Some of the cold hard facts.
Mr Goodeve-Docker died before rescuers reached them on April 28.

His body was found upright and frozen stiff.

Heck, I don't even recommend trying to walk to where the ice cap begins, much less all the way across! It is a very long way and that is the warm part...
