It's College BB Bracket Time !!!

#1 Post by Im_Ace » Sun Mar 16, 2008 10:11 pm

I've set us up a bracket. Same deal as last year (except I probably won't win it this time).

(Check out the "motto". I think we're worth it)

Best of luck.

The EDS PTB have blocked access to ESPN's website, so I'll have to wait until I get home later today to make my bracket.

My picks are in. Is there a fee, a betting pool on the side, or we're playing for fun? I didn't do this last year, so I want to make there's nothing to do other than completing my selections.

I joined instead of my mom, because I like basketball more than she does. That's probably because I'm tall, and she's not. I have talked over my picks with the boy dog next door. I hope that's okay.

Just bragging rights.

Don't get beat by someone you think knows a whole lot less than you think you know.

Butt cream may be involved at some point, depending on how lucky I am.

I think I didn't type the name of the group, I think it came up as I entered it and I just clicked on it - it mighta had a 2 after it or something.

Try again and watch the choices as you enter the name of the group. You do have to have all caps for the password.

Thanks Pea, I feel really stupid. . .seems my whole problem was it had been so long since last March when I used my ESPN account, I couldn't remember my personal password.

Finally made it, have my picks, can't wait to see everyone elses but they won't let me until after the lockdown.

Guess it goes to reason that I have my Hawks winning it this year.

Odd. I joined the group a couple of days ago but now it appears I am no longer a member and can't join now.

Always is so much more fun when you have an investment in every game....

I'm so excited! I'm tied for first. I've never been tied for first before.

I was going to pick the Loyola Greyhounds to win the whole thing, but it turned out they weren't in the tournament.

I have to be excited while I can.

Miss 5L, I hope you both are feeling better. I send warm snuggles and wet kisses.

That's what I always send, but it's all I've got.

Seven games now complete.

We're already down to a six-way tie for first.

No upsets so far.

I, for one, was plenty upset.

And, yet after the very same game, I was not. Funny how that works.

Well Darn! I saw this too late. It probably wouldn't have mattered anyway. The only bracket I filled out was for ESPN. To have a chance in their contest, you have to take a lot of underdogs and hope you catch lightning in a bottle. A more conservative methodology would have been better served here.

Good Luck to all of you.

Annie, you still have the Connecticut Huskies as well as Bulldogs from Miss. St., Gonzaga, Drake and Butler. The ones from Georgia have already lost.

Thank you, Mr. Elwood! I didn't know all the team mascot names. I've never been in a basketball contest before.
