The eBay artwork is on its way. I suppose that I shouldn't expect as good a return on my other pieces, given that the winner was so avid about this one (see my post from last night) and probably bid higher than he might have. The next highest bidder was just below the winner's bid, though. Who knows? I did the math, and the net proceeds will pay for the meals for an entire table of guests. Ka-ching!

Back in the early days of WWTBAM and TOPG, while being an oh-fer on callbacks, I had planned to tell Regis that each question's dollar level was so many semesters of college for the kids. Now, the unit of measure is wedding dinner plates. Not sure what unit I'll use once the wedding is over. Months of comfortable retirement, maybe. My current 'BAM nightmare is that I'll manage an audition this summer, get a Happy Card (okay so far), and then get The Call on August 8th telling me to show up in NYC at 7 AM on the 11th. Uh, excuse me, could I get TWO limos to the airport after the reception, please? Maybe I'd wear my tux on the show. It certainly would be a good story for chitchat with Meredith. (A man can dream, can't he?)

Sure, bring the whole wedding party to the companion seats! 8)

According to promos, 5th Grader will have newlywed contestants on tomorrow's show. They're showing up in their tux and wedding dress.

The 10th. If I've done the math correctly, it can be calculated from the number in the subject, which should be 8/10/08 minus 151 days and counting. So the nightmare is being Called the Friday before and having to show up to tape on the Monday after.
