Spoiler
All in all not a bad episode - taut, fast-paced and "dynamic" (i. e., advancing the plot). New Bern is brought back into the picture - I'm betting that before the end there will be some sort of alliance between Jericho and New Bern against the ACS forces. Stanley's action didn't surprise me - I figured he'd do something like that, but not under those circumstances.

And I have to ask, why did the guy only take $10K? Or was it that he had taken more but this was the first time he got caught? I also wonder about the new currency - is it backed by "the full faith and credit" of the Cheyenne government (for whatever that's worth)? I haven't heard anyone complain about inflation, which would seem to be likely under the circumstances.

Crap. I forgot all about Jericho and its new 10 pm timeslot last night.

I'll have to watch the episode on the web, tonight.

Okay, I watched on the web last night (bonus: far fewer commercials that way!) so I can comment now.

I agree that Constantino and his New Bern gang will be allied with Jericho soon--the enemy of my enemy and all that. But, having drawn the wrath of the government down on them by killing the J&R mercs, they still shouldn't have a chance unless they get Col. Beck to bring the Army into the resistance.

The show doesn't want to get involved in the details of establishing a new currency, just as they glossed over all the other effects of the nuclear attack and the collapse of society. But since J&R snuck in that fine print about re-establishing a nationwide currency into their contracts, I'd presume they're deliberately not meeting that condition yet.

Jake is much too hotheaded to be a sheriff, much less a leader of the rebel alliance.

One more thing. I don't care for all the soap opera subplots in this show, but they had one scene this week that I found particularly touching.
Spoiler
Stanley is in the morgue saying goodbye to Bonnie and his does this using sign language, because that's how the two of them have always communicated.
