Maybe it's the same guy who took a knife and monogrammed his wife.

I don't agree with some civilian intentionally, er, exercising impiety and lack of propriety, for whole host of reasons.
But the family of 4 who spent hours and hours trying to revive the pigeons? That's just wrong. Feeding the vermin, reviving them, etc at home is still wrong, but at least it's your own home you're fouling. While you're on vacation is just mean.

I can't get the Periodic Table of Elements done to the Modern Major General song out of my head! The Pirates of Penzance is coming here and they're doing a dress rehearsal for the school kids, so they're pushing it in music class. I told Mini-me about the elements song and he loves the idea.
So know I have to stalk it and kill it and bring it home for him...

An episode of NCIS two weeks ago had this song as one of the plot devices - someone was using the song to hide a password to encrypted files on a laptop computer.
The song was run through a filter that screened out all but certain elements; the atomic numbers of those elements were the key to the password.
Almost as cool as the mention last week of the Dread Pirate Roberts.

I don't think so - I'm not familiar with this piece of Bored history, so perhaps you'd enlighten me.
The NCIS reference was about a person who was an "eraser" - someone who could remove traces of people's identities and create new ones for them. The person that the NCIS people found was the "new Dread Pirate Roberts" (referencing the fact that it's the name that counted - "No one would surrender to the Dread Pirate Wesley").
