40 million for 4 years 30 million guaranteed
His guarantee of about 15 million each of the next 2 years kept the Cards out of big free agency, probably a good thing given their track record there.
He still gets the same money guaranteed but it is now spread out over 4 years for Cap purposes

That sound you heard emanating from Philadelphia was thousands of Eagles' fans letting out a depressed sigh.

When they didn't trade him before free agency opened and giving them cap space to go after Alan Faneca they weren't trading him after even though Philly offere an all pro CB and a wide receiver.
