Chuck is a former ringmaster and also played a superhero on a 1980s TV show. He played "Automan", the computer-generated hologram (the show also starred Desi Arnaz, Jr.) He was absolutely non-violent and non-threatening. He said he was the Elmo of his generation. He even got to meet Lucille Ball when she came to the set for Desi's birthday.

I've never HEARD of piloxing. I would JTQ fast.

I remember the "Automan" show quite fondly. I even got to catch an episode back in the mid-90s on Sci-Fi network (I think). Would love to be able to watch it again but looks like the only DVD release available is in the PAL format.

I was hoping Chuck would do well. Nice to see a guy who still seems to live up to the image he portrayed on TV all those years ago. So many stars of yesteryear become the mugshots of today.

I remember that show. It didn't run very long (probably only 10 episodes).
