I remember some of Alex's banter, which I found entertaining. (Skip if contestant small talk bores you.)

If he wins enough, Alex would like to turn his basement into a "man cave." Alex's wife Patti has decorated the rest of the house. Alex wants to finish the basement and install stadium seats with built-in cup holders, a big-screen TV, and maybe a wet bar.

Alex is scared to miss the first question. (I've noticed lots of contestants have first-question jitters. I think that's one reason they used to start the game with easy questions.)

Meredith asks Patti about the "man cave" idea. Patti says no stadium seating (too clunky), but she'd add a Skee-ball game.

It's ironic that a dentist invented "Fairy Floss," since it's nothing but spun sugar.

Here are two articles about Alex's appearance.

http://phoenixville.patch.com/articles/ ... illionaire

A quick recap of the question that he walked on, plus one local tie-in.
Cabot was the second Phoenixville resident to make an appearance on the long running quiz show.
http://www.phoenixvillenews.com/article ... llionaire-

A bit longer, with more personal details.
He is going to use his winnings for something practical: to finish his basement. He said that is the main reason he let his wife, Patty persuade him to go on the show.
She persuaded him? But he says later he's been a long-time fan!
He isn’t shy when it comes to being in front of people.

“I’ve been on TV before on the local news,” Cabot said. “I’ve spent time on camera. I did theatre when I was in college. I’m used to being in the spotlight.”
A little What Else experience, then.
He said he recommends that people go on the show.

“If you like trivia, it’s so much fun,” Cabot said.
Yeah, I've heard that. :|
