Judging from the description, it sounds like it could be the agony of almost any body part.

I saw a bit about this show on some news program. Hard to believe that it's interesting enough to sustain a weekly show, let alone a popular one. I think it's another Japanese revenge for beating them in WW II, right alongside Toyota, Honda and Karaoke.
