Senator Vitter you have a call from Gov. Spitzer
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

So, Nelly will your call be consistent?NellyLunatic1980 wrote:Hmmm... I wonder how many Republicans who stood behind and applauded Sen. Huggies Vitter after his whore problem will also stand behind and applaud Gov. Spitzer.
Nah... they'll call him immoral and demand his resignation.

Depends on whether the story is true and just how involved Gov. Spitzer was with the pros.themanintheseersuckersuit wrote:So, Nelly will your call be consistent?NellyLunatic1980 wrote:Hmmm... "All my life, every time I've ever been around a pretty woman, and somebody has said 'Elliot Spritzer,' I've felt a little guilty for not being more accommodating.
So, the one time when I finally decided to go ahead and do that, they complain. I tell ya ... "
Truth is, I've always thought that he was kind of peculiar.
