B4 Team-The List

Week 257

What are you doing for your health and fitness stuff this week?

I'm going to be really nutritious with the food intake and get some exercise among the planning. We are taking a roadtrip for spring break and I am sure that there is going to be some taquito consumption. (It's a Whataburger thing).

So when I know that my choices are going to be limited, and that I'm not inclined to fight it, I try to bank some healthy eating before then (and pack a few healthy things too).

The PCLT will be up soonishly. I've been having problems with the admin site a bit.

One week from today, I have to go back to the veterinary surgeon. I would like my back to be all healed up by then. I can't see the no-skin place very well, but my mom says the opening is down to about 1/2-inch by 2 inches. I will try very hard to think grow-new-skin-cell thoughts all week long. Also, I will continue to eat a lot of tasty stuff so I have good nutrition to build the new, improved me.

I can do anything when I set my mind to it.

Time to work on increasing my calcium.

I will choose my foods with that in mind.

This week is a bit of a mixed bag- I'm getting over a really nasty case of bronchitis so I'm planning to take it easy. I forsee some very bad things on the dining front, though.

Wednesday is my birthday and the man and I are going out for some fondue. I cannot promise any virtuous behavior on the eating. I may opt to dip my calorie laden goodies in broth instead of the pot of oil, but that's as far as I am willing to go. And I will share the free pot of chocolate fondue that The Melting Pot gives you for your birthday. Maybe. If my dining partner stabs me a few times with the pointy fork to make me behave.

Thursday is party round II- cocktails with coworkers. I'm medicated, so I'm not stressed about that one, I will not be imbibing.

Saturday is party round III- Korean BBQ with family and friends. I will eat stuff.

So, I'm officially giving up on nutrition this week, although realistically, the pot of boiling cheese is probably the worst offender. And there will be cake. I like cake.

Got my bronchitis diagnosis today also (I think it just means a cough that lasts longer than X days + productive cough). I have a week's worth of antibiotic and two syrups.

I should still be able to walk a bit in the afternoons since it will be in the 60s for a few days.

Try to add weights back to the workout.

Think, (notice think) about getting back to walking outside--we may hit the high 40's this week---about friggin time.

No, you missed my deal about walking outside. The think is related to the weather/tempature--I won't walk outside if I have to wear gloves in order to not have my hands get cold. And yes I know that is about 15 days out of a year.
