Yes, I will take credit for the picture of a raccoon on tomorrow's page 2 Sports.
Pat Summit dislocated her shoulder fighting with one before Friday's game. She had been walking her dog, and I guess they didn't hit it off. Or did.
I found a cute pic of an Audubon Zoo raccoon draped over a tree branch.

Silly me. And here I thought this was going to be a thread about my favorite band.

What sport was the raccoon playing?
And will we be able to see this photo on the paper's website?

I can only guess that since there is no photo, that the raccoon's lawyer objected to his picture being used since he wasn't the one accused of the attack.

But the raccoon didn't even attack anyone! Coach Summitt just says that it looked like it was about to.
Pretty flimsy alibi to cover up an assault and battery case, if you ask me.

This was just a spokesperson-type raccoon in the picture.
A coworker was disappointed we didn't have a picture of the one involved in the altercation. I said it was the dog's fault for not bringing his camera.
I did include a mug of Summit, for equal treatment. But neither pic made it online, as they were part of a larger package we don't put online, called NewsMakers. It's the place on page 2 for upbeat news that doesn't quite fit anywhere else.
