B4 Team-Check In

#1 Post by Bixby17 » Fri Mar 07, 2008 4:45 pm

Oh crap. I kept on thinking all day that it was Thursday.

So how was your week. Blather and whatnot.

Husband has cold. I don't want to get cold before Spring Break. I'm washing hands fivemillion times a day.

Got sore doing abs yesterday. Sore abs are good. I need to do more sore abs.

I got a yoga abs DVD a few days ago, and will join you with the sore abs.

I went to see my vet today (my regular vet, not the veterinary surgeon.) He looked at my back and smiled and smiled and smiled. Then he gave me my shots. He said I was his favorite patient. I don't think he says that to just everybody. Then he said I must be part cat, because I have so many lives. I'm pretty sure he was teasing about that.

P.S. I peeked in the back room where I met that nice mastiff a couple of months ago. He wasn't there.

Got my workout in today. I hate pull days.

What did I say last week? Yeah, about the same this week.

Today's weight = 194.4. Moving average = 194.1.

I had my physical today, something that I've not had for awhile.

My goals, prephysical, were to lose gained-back weight and some other things. Everything else is status quo, blah blah. So, okay.

Last week I took a 40 minute walk. YES! I did. Our friends from Seattle were in and we walked up to where I work, at which point my shoes were strangling my feet. So, I turned around and walked back home just as fast. It was a good 40 minute total walk.

Jeff and the friends called me from Berryhill Tamales, where they'd walked to after I left them, to come pick them up. They were carbing up with some beer. So, I picked them up and carbed with a margarita.

I walked 40 minutes and didn't pass out or anything.

I just may do that some more with some newer shoes.
Well, then

I have some test results coming next Monday.

I'm flushed with excitement, since the colonoscopy went well. In the end, I felt a bit wiped out, but otherwise not too crappy.

Forgive the drive by posting, but I'm very pleased with my 17lb loss since Jan 26th. Only 13 more to get to my goal of 200. It was amazing what I could hide in a flight suit.

Once I started wearing 'big boy' clothes, I decided to not become the porko I was on the way to being. So wish me luck on the way down to 200 (and for keeping it off!). At 6'4", I think 200 is a good weight. 230 and mostly pudge, not so much.........

Not a big fan of wishing someone luck about something over which they have complete control.

I will be encouraging, supportive and kick your butt if you let me!
